Do I need a referral for urodynamic testing?
Your urologist will refer you for testing based on your symptoms; walk-in requests can also be arranged through outpatient clinics.
Is the test uncomfortable?
You may feel mild, brief discomfort during catheter placement, but the study itself is painless and takes about 30-45 minutes.
How should I prepare?
Arrive with a comfortably full bladder unless instructed otherwise, and bring a list of your current medications for review.
